SES Chicago version live – new Authority Analysis, AJAX tables, SPEED!
Dec 10
A new version of our Link Research Tools is out again finally! Our development team worked hard in the last few weeks and so we are proud to present you some fine new features that will facilitate the use of the tools for you. In addition to that fancy new caching algorithms should improve report generation time… is this the last closed beta version?
More Pie Charts and Tables
We have introduced pie charts and tables for the categories IP Popularity, Class-C Popularity and Domain Popularity for all tools. The Back Links and Anchortext Tool also offers a pie chart and table for the Anchortext Breakdown. These features were already released for Country Popularity (Geo Breakdown) in the SES Berlin version.

New Table Control Features
But more than this, we have also included a sorting function in the tables. Now you can sort parameters like the Yahoo BackLinks or the Juice values ascending or descending. You can do this by clicking on the table headers and choosing the function you want.

Using the filter to sort the Anchor Text
The new version also has a filter that makes it possible to search for keywords in a column. Additionally, you can also hide columns that you don’t want to be shown in your report. In our example picture we have used the filter for the Anchor Text. As you can see we have been looking for the phrase “geocaching”.
You can also use the filters in the report overview. You can sort the reports by the tool used or the project name.

Filter function for projects in the Report Overview
Another fine feature is the grouping function that allows you to group the results according to a specified field, e.g. follow/no follow, country or Juice. In the picture below you see the result URLs grouped by the follow/no folllow function. You just have to chose the field and then click on “Show in Groups” and the URLs are listed accordingly. In the example we see the 86 result URLs of a BATT report that are follow links.

These features will make it easier to analyse reports and help you save some of your precious time.
Domain Authority Analysis – with Site Links
The Domain Authority Analysis is a special feature developed by CEMPER.COM. Find out what the Domain Authority Analysis is and what it makes so special and unique.
Even more new features
In the CBLT and COLT reports you can mouse over the numbers, indicating the input sites, to see the analyzed domain/page. Additionally, you can click on the radio buttons in the results that stand for the input URLs to go to Yahoo SiteExplorer. There you can browse through all the sites of a domain that link back to the input URL or domain. You can also see how many pages of a domain link to the input URL.

Click on the Buttons to go to Yahoo SiteExplorer

New Action Quick Links
On your membership page you can add three action quick links to your report results. First, there is the Yahoo SiteExplorer (Y) that will show you all the back links of a result URL. The “W” stands for the Who Is Domain Tools that provide you with all relevant domain registration information about a site. If you are a registered member at Sistrix (S), then add this quick link to your report pages and you get Sistrix information on an URL by just one click.
The report creation speed is also increased significantly in the new version due to better caching and crawling optimization. Don’t forget that you can now be notified when one of your reports is finished. Just go to your membership page and under “Tool Settings” check the E-Mail notification box.

Tool Settings
The new version also offers better link detection. In the Back Links and Anchortext Tool (BATT) a lot of the links that were maybe “not found” in the past are now checked successfully, like all the others, if they are really there. Remember: search engines and even 3rd party systems often return wrong date – we want to make sure you look at link that are ONLINE! So we try to identify that LIVE FOR EACH link reported by the engines and external third party link uploads including Majestic SEO or Linkscape – that’s why larger reports take a bit more time

Report parameter presets
You can speed up the use of the Link Research Tools by working with our report parameter presets. You can save report analysis parameter settings and then load them for other reports of the same tool. So you don’t have to pick the parameters you want manually again.
